Make Music Day – Recreation Ground, Aylsham

Make music day. Broadlands Ukulele Group are scheduled to play at 3.30pm in the Aylsham Pavillion, with Pip and Alison’s Beginners Group.  Not sure what the parking position is, or if we’re playing inside on a stage, or outside on a field.

Make Music Day UK is a free, annual, UK-wide day of music held in public spaces – from squares to libraries, bandstands to school halls and arts centres – every Summer solstice, 21 June.  Further details to come.

This is the UK’s contribution to the international Summer solstice music celebration which first started in France in 1982 and now takes place in over 120 countries and 750 cities across the world. Make Music Day UK aims to turn the country into a stage and offer a full spectrum of performers the opportunity to display their musical skills.

Pip and Alison will also be giving a workshop/taster.
